Javier Bujanda

Bringing more than 20 years of operational and financial management experience in the hospitality industry. Javier started at DoubleTree Hotels, promptly progressing to positions of increased responsibility, including that of Controller and Assistant General Manager. Successively, he went on to join the teams of Sage Management and Starwood Hotels, supporting both their national financial and hotel operations teams, in the capacity of Regional Controller and General Manager.

In 2004, he began a 17-year career with HI USA, the largest hostel network in the United States, as Director of Finance and Operations in the San Francisco region. Over time, promoted to national positions, first as Vice President of Services and Vice President of Operations for the Central-Eastern region with revenues exceeding 33 million per year. Javier brings extensive operational and financial expertise with emphasis on team development, opportunity identification, innovation, and process optimization.
